# Alerts

> Get emailed the moment a metric crosses a threshold you set — across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads.

Alerts watch your ad accounts so you don't have to. Define a condition — *spend above \$500 a day*, *ROAS below 2 for this campaign* — and Adstudio checks it on a schedule and emails you when it triggers.

## Creating an alert

Open **Alerts** in the sidebar and click **Create Alert**:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a platform and scope">
    **Google Ads, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads** — watching the whole account, a single campaign, an ad set / ad group, or an individual ad.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a metric">
    Spend, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, ROAS, video and engagement metrics, and more — including your account's own **conversion actions**, fetched live for Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the condition">
    Greater than, less than, or equal to a threshold value.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the interval">
    **Daily, weekly, or monthly.** The interval is also the measurement window — a daily alert evaluates the last day's data, a weekly one the last 7 days, a monthly one the last 30.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set severity">
    **Warning** or **Critical** — reflected in the email so the important ones stand out.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Alerts can be paused and resumed anytime from the list.

## When an alert triggers

You receive an **email** with the alert name, the metric's actual value versus your threshold, and the entity it fired on. Every trigger is also recorded in the **Alert History** tab, so you can review the last 30 days of activity, and the summary cards at the top of the page show totals, today's triggers, and critical alerts at a glance.

## Alerts and the AI

Alerts are your always-on safety net; the [AI assistant](/en/ai/overview) is the layer that catches what you didn't think to watch:

* Whenever the assistant analyzes your metrics, it runs **automatic anomaly detection** — flagging ROAS collapses, CPC and spend spikes, CTR drops, and campaigns spending without converting, directly on its analysis cards. No setup required.
* When an alert fires, take the email to the chat: *"My ROAS alert on the Search campaign triggered — what happened?"* The assistant digs into the period, breaks down the drivers, and proposes fixes you can approve on the spot.
* Follow through in one place: turn the diagnosis into [tasks](/en/features/tasks) for your team, or have the assistant [apply the fix](/en/ai/actions) itself after your confirmation.
